France has admitted that the death toll from Corona has increased from 4,000 to 5,500. Authorities have included the deaths in hospitals as well as in nursing homes.
According to the French Department of Health, the death toll from Corona in the country is now 5,400, officials had previously said that the 4,050 deaths were reported in different hospitals across the country until Thursday. However, it is now explained that 884 people have died due to coronavirus in different nursing homes.
In France, 1 million people live in care homes and the care sector has begun testing all staff.
