The coastal region has many beaches including the Bay of Roses beach. This beach is famous for the many types of water sports such as surfing and sailing that take place here. The area is also suitable for wind surfing due to the ideal conditions for this sport.

Besides these water activities you can also take part in the various beach activities such as volley ball and beach ball. Many families like to hire pedal boats while exploring many landscapes. In addition, shopping can also enjoyed near this beach and many tourists love to go on boat rides to see many other small hidden beaches.

Banyoles Lake is also an important tourist destination. It is the largest lake of this region and also has a cycling path around some of it. Here, tourists can also enjoy the walking and many families rent villas and apartments as their holiday accommodation.
