US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad has called for an end to violence against the Afghan Taliban.
According to the US State Department, US negotiator Zalmai Khalilzad has called for new talks to end the violence against the Taliban and protect the two-month-old agreement.
US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad will visit Qatar. Apart from Qatar, he will also visit Pakistan and India.
During his visit, Zalmai Khalilzad will emphasize the need for an immediate reduction in violence, inter-Afghan dialogue, and co-operation between all parties in tackling the Korona epidemic in Afghanistan, according to the State Department.
