Or, if hiking is more your style, then consider taking a trip up to Bishop Peak for one of the most stunning views. If you are more of an entertainment buff, consider swinging over to the Sunset Drive-in Theater for a retro cinema experience.
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of daily life and just want to find a place to relax, then take a trip to Ventura. This city is an excellent place for bird watching, fishing and just relaxing. If you want to get more entertainment, visit Ventura Harbor for carousel rides, kayak and paddleboat rentals, golf or day spas. You can also find several art museums near the city as well.
Despite the current health crisis, Southern California is full of things to do. There is no need to travel overseas or even across the country when you have cities like San Diego and miles of coastline. Find a way to enjoy the shore and the waters of California this summer, and stay cool and relaxed in the process.
